Midcentury Resin Sculpture of Man/Woman by Mystery Artist - Moses?
Overview: Up for sale is a very well-executed (I believe) resin sculpture. It depicts a man standing with a woman grabbing and holding him around the legs. Lots of great emotion in this piece. Lots of great patina. It is on a cool dark marble base. Sculpture is not signed and is not dated. I bought this at an estate sale with a lot of Judaica items. The estate sale company rep said they believe the statue was of Moses, but I haven''t found any corroborating information.
Condition: The piece is in excellent condition apart from two notable issues. The head of the man was severed at one point and appears to have been superglued back together. There is a small chip on the hand of the male figure.
Measurements: Piece measures approximately 10 inches high x 5 inches wide. Base is approximately 6 inches wide x 5 inches deep.
